A musical theater piece based Peter Esterhazy's "Celestial Harmonies" with the acclaimed director, David Marton (www.burgtheater.at) CLUESO The young and talented pop star is working on a ‘jazz’ orientated project to experiment with the boarders of song and rap and improvisation. March 23d in Berlin (www.jazzwerkstatt.eu) NIGUN BAND (guest soloist) 2010 Dec. 11, Budapest, Channuka Jazz Festival Concert in Paris planned MERET BECKER (and the Tiny Teeth) Acclaimed actress and singer is starting a new project inspired by circus, performance art, and Spike Jones! Sounds like fun to me! Performances start in February at Berlin’s legendary Wintergarten. Tours are being planned. Behind the scenes I am producing children’s shows for SWR. (South West Radio in Germany), working on a book about being a father and traveling musician, and another children’s CD. ON THE BACK BURNERS. TWO RADIO PLAYS: -Interviews with bassist/tubist Mark Rubin about Mexican, German, Polish, and Czech culture in Texas. The music and customs of immigrants are still alive in communities in Texas but are slowly being washed away by commercialism and world media. Mark talks about this from a bass player’s view, from the bottom up! -Interviews with my 83 year old mother and my 13 year old son. When my mother was 13 she was on the ‘kindertransport’ escaping Nazi Vienna to England. The critics reaction is amazingly good. The core of the music is jewish and the sound of the band is very cosmopolitan. - Producing Children's Music for Oetinger Publisher - Two Childrends CDs for the well known Oetinger publishing house. 'Paul Brody's Hickory Dickory Dock' and 'All My Little Ducklings'. (Text and music by Brody). These CDs feature an amazing group of musicians. Rock star, Clueso, has a pop/jazz orientated project where we experiment with song form and rock grooves and open improves. The young musicians are amazing!
